Christopher Uminga, a Connecticut based painter and illustrator finds influence in classic movies, Saturday morning cartoons, graffiti and low brow/outsider art throughout his work. Superman by Chris Uminga, perfectly showcases the character with many of the accents associated with Uminga’s artwork. Glowing eyes, broad brush strokes, oversized hands and a gritty face expression. The design also features Superman full of attitude, a real fighter and someone who’s willing to take on any big bad.
